The TCT TCT40-16R is a 40 kHz ultrasonic sensor transceiver designed for precise distance measurement and object detection. It integrates both emission and reception functions, with a narrow beam angle of 60° ±15° and a typical detection range of up to 4 meters in air. The sensor operates at 5 V DC with low current consumption, producing a sound pressure level of at least 112 dB and a receiving sensitivity of ≥-65 dB. It features a capacitance of 2400 pF ±20% and supports operation in temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C. The module is compatible with standard microcontrollers and embedded systems, making it suitable for robotics, automation, and level sensing applications.
