Description
The Pressure-Sensitive Conductive Sheet (Velostat) is a flexible carbon-impregnated polymer material designed for creating custom pressure and touch sensors. It changes resistance when mechanical force is applied, enabling simple analog sensing in wearable and embedded systems. With a thickness of 0.1 mm and volume resistivity below 500 ohm·cm, it provides consistent electrical behavior across its surface. The sheet is heat sealable and operates within -45°C to 65°C, making it suitable for prototyping, interactive surfaces, and low-cost sensor development. Features • Carbon-impregnated conductive polymer sheet • Pressure-dependent resistance behavior • 0.1 mm ultra-thin flexible profile • Large 280 × 280 mm sensing area • Volume resistivity < 500 ohm·cm • Surface resistivity < 31,000 ohms/sq.cm • Heat-sealable material structure • Operating temperature -45°C to 65°C • Lightweight 18.66 g sheet • Suitable for custom FSR fabrication • Compatible with analog voltage divider circuits • Cuttable to custom shapes and sizes Tutorials • Pressure Mat Demo (Velostat Matrix)
