Description
The MAX30102 Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Sensor is a compact optical biosensing module designed for measuring blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate in embedded and wearable applications. It integrates red and infrared LEDs, photodetectors, optical components, and low-noise analog front-end electronics with ambient light rejection. Operating from a 1.8V core supply and 3.3–5V LED supply, it communicates via a standard I2C interface. The device supports software shutdown with zero standby current, making it suitable for battery-powered systems such as wearable devices, fitness monitors, and mobile platforms. Features • Integrated Red and IR LEDs (660 nm / 880 nm) • Onboard Photodetector and Optical Elements • Low-Noise Analog Front-End with Ambient Light Rejection • I2C Digital Communication Interface • 1.8V Core Supply Operation • 3.3–5V LED Supply Compatibility • Software Shutdown with Zero Standby Current • Compact PCB Design 20.3 × 15.2 mm • Wide Operating Temperature Range • Suitable for Wearable and Mobile Devices MAX30102 Datasheet • MAX30102 Arduino Library • MAX30102 Pulse Oximeter And Heart Rate Sensor 3D Model Tutorials • Pulse Oximeter!
